INTRODUCTION : The Core Cutting Machine is an engine
driving machine to be used for the field working. This machine has been designed in such a way to work smoothly in
the field. As there will be difficulty
in getting the electricity it will work with
diesel oil either way. This machine
is to be used for taking the core sample from asphalt, concrete road.
DESCRIPTION : Core Cutting Machine, engine driven
petrol/kerosene oil. For foundation
coring and pavement testing. The Core
Cutting Machine cuts time and cost for drilling concrete, tile, asphalt paving
and many other similar hard materials.
Drills combine fast, smooth cutting advantages with easy one man
operation. Drill/cut upto 100mm dia
core in a few minutes. Fitted water tank
for cooling the diamond core bit. Engine
make : Greaves Tools Ltd. (Petrol/Kerosene oil/Diesel Engine. Fitted with scooter type wheels for easy in
transportation on roads.
TEST PROCEDURE :
ENGINE : The Core
Cutting Machine is an Engine Driving
machine to be used the field working.
Its complete working is given in the enclosed manual and it is advised
that it should be studied completely before starting the machine. Please fill the engine oil and diesel
oil as per enclosed manual. (FIRST YOU TAKE THE MACHINE TO THE TESTING
PLACE AS IT HAS WHEELS AND YOU HAVE NO DIFFICULTY IN CARRYING IT THERE).
Driving handle : It can be used
for upward and downward as required.
Fix the diamond cutter in the machine with washer and fully tight.
WATER CONNECTION : Before the
engine starts the rubber pipe fit in a water tank/tub or connect the water
tap. The water will start coming in and
the should be checked whether the water has started coming in the diamond core
cutter. If for some reasons the water
has not reached to diamond core cutter, remove the rubber pipe and suck the air
with the help of your mouth. Only air
should have blocked the flow of water.
After putting back the pipe you
will find the water has started in core cutter.
Adjust the height from the handle as per your road level. Start the machine with the help of engine and
drilling/cutting should be done as required with the help of operating handle
in clockwise.
IMPORTANT : While
drilling it should be ensured that the water is coming in diamond cutter. Without water it will destroy the "Diamond
Cutter". After doing the job the
handle should be rotated anticlockwise. PLEASE ENSURE THAT THE HANDLE
ROTATE SLOWLY AND SMOOTHLY.
One diamond cutter of 4" (100mm) dia is being supplied to enable
you to do the testing and cutting job as per direction.
PRECAUTIONS & MAINTENANCE :
1.
Level of oil
in engine should be ensured as per direction given in the booklet manual.
2.
Without water
don't take the sample.
3.
After testing
please remove the diamond cutter and keep in safe custody
.
4.
Clean the
machine after finish the work and greasing/oiling,

smooth and slow for smooth cutting.
